We want every groom to be a positive experience for both you and your dog.

By booking or using our grooming services you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

GENERAL AGREEMENT

By scheduling or attending an appointment you agree to these Terms & Conditions, which govern the delivery of our grooming services. These terms are put in place to protect the welfare of your pet during the entire process of our grooming service, you as an owner and your groomer.

APPOINTMENT BOOKING AND CANCELLATIONS

BOOKINGS:

All appointments must be scheduled in advance. You must book on the phone or in person with me.

CANCELLATIONS & LATE CHANGES TO YOUR GROOMING APPOINTMENT:

You must notify is at least 24 hours in advance to your grooming appointment if you wish to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations or no-shows may result in a cancellation fee or loss of deposit.

If you arrive late, we will do our best to accommodate you, but the groom may need to be shortened and the full price of the service you booked may still apply.

PAYMENT AND PRICING:

Payment is due on collection of your dog , unless agreed with me otherwise.

Prices given are estimates and may change depending on your dog’s coat condition, behaviour, size, or is extra time or care is needed.

We will always be honest and fair about any additional charges.

MATTED COATS:

Severely matted coats can be uncomfortable and sometimes painful for dogs.

If matting is present, extra charges may apply due to time and care requires. Shaving may be the kindest and safest option for your dog - I will do my best to contact you first to discuss this but if Im unable to get through to you I will use my knowledge and experience to offer the safest groom for your dog.

Removing matting can sometimes cause mild irritation, redness, or reveal underlying skin issues. By booking, you agree to the groomer doing what is best for your dog’s welfare.

YOUR DOG’S HEALTH AND CONDITION:

Your dog’s safety is my top priority. Please let me know in advance about:

Medications or recent vet visits, skin issues or allergies, medical conditions, behaviour concerns, your dog is in heat.

Grooming can sometimes reveal underlying issues such as skin irritations or lumps that weren’t visible before. I can’t be held responsible for conditions that were not disclosed or were previously known.

In the unlikely event of an emergency, I may seek veterinary care. I will do my best to contact the owner (you) before hand. Any decisions regarding treatment and associated costs will be handled on a case-by-case basis, taking into account your pet insurance (where applicable), my insurance and at the groomer (me) discretion, always with your dogs best interest in mind.

FLEAS, TICKS & PARASITES:

Please ensure your dog is free from fleas and ticks before their appointment.

If parasites are found during grooming, we may need to:

Apply a treatment at an additional cost, reschedule the groom, charge a cleaning fee to disinfect equipment and the salon.

PHOTOS & SOCIAL MEDIA:

I love sharing your work! Photos & Videos of your dog may be taken for records or social media.

If you prefer your dog not to appear online, just let us know - no problem at all.

BEHAVIOUR & SAFETY:

We understand that grooming can be stressful for some dogs. We will always work patiently and kindly.

However, if a dog becomes aggressive or poses risk to themselves or others, we may need to stop the groom. In these cases, the full grooming fee may still apply.

For safety, muzzles or supportive handling methods may be used when absolutely necessary.

PRIVACY:

Any personal information you share with us is kept safe and confidential and is only used for booking and communication purposes, in line with our privacy policy.
